Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a structured and collaborative Sourcing Project Specialist to join our Procurement Team in Nordborg.

As our Sourcing Project Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting sourcing activities within New Product Development (NPD) projects—ensuring that deadlines are met, suppliers are aligned, and information flows smoothly between procurement, engineering, and project teams.
You will become part of a skilled and supportive procurement team located in Nordborg, and report to the Senior Manager of Procurement in Denmark.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Sourcing Project Specialist, you will support sourcing activities in different projects by acting as the link between procurement, internal project teams, and external suppliers. Your main tasks will include:
Coordinating supplier involvement in projects in alignment with Category Managers. Supporting the collection and organization of sourcing data and documentation. Assisting with supplier communication and follow-ups. Preparing sourcing-related input for project meetings and status reports. Ensuring procurement tasks stay on track according to project timelines. Helping mitigate supply-related risks by supporting supplier assessments and qualifications.
You will work closely with colleagues from R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality, ensuring a smooth flow of information and task execution across teams.
Background & SkillsThe ideal candidate has experience within procurement or sourcing coordination, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
You are service-minded, organized, and enjoy being the go-to person for keeping procurement activities aligned and on time within development projects.
We are looking for someone who brings:
Strong coordination and communication skills across teams and stakeholders. Basic understanding of sourcing processes and supplier collaboration. Interest in technical components and drawings. Proficiency in using digital tools and maintaining structured documentation. Fluency in English—both written and spoken.
