You will lead project teams to secure contractual agreements to meet business needs; you will lead supplier simplification and execution on activities to optimize productivity and quality and fulfillment through strategic supplier relationships. This is a unique opportunity to work with sourcing, cost-down, outsourcing and change management projects and support Danfoss. \#LI-ZB1#LI-Hybrid **Job Responsibilities** **Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:** + Identify and implement cost down initiatives with External suppliers + Participate in new product development projects assuring early involvement of our development suppliers and insure frontloading of the right technology and production platform according to IATF 16949 requirements. + Build relationships with internal key stake holders to establish best sourcing solutions at both the regional and global level. + Develop time to time ideation workshop with suppliers and internally to build a pipeline of cost savings + Develop global sourcing policies and procedures to drive consistency and optimal utilization of competitive bidding process, negotiations, and terms and conditions requirements to achieve desired results across all regions. + Participating in re-design projects and ensure implementation according to IATF 16949 requirements (Change Control, PPAP, etc.) + Identifying, visualizing and mitigating potential risks + Working closely with global category managers and project managers to initiate, design and execute projects while meeting quality and cost goals. **Background & Skills** **The ideal candidate possesses these skills:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, supply chain or other relevant area. + 5 years procurement / sourcing experience + Experience demonstrating a solid track record of meeting aggressive objectives. + Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline driven environment. + Broad knowledge of the procurement function as well as a high degree of knowledge of cost drivers, market dynamics, and supplier relationships in driving cost reductions. + Experience with Strategic Sourcing of Castings & Machining, aluminum and Turned parts categories + Experience in Negotiation, Supplier Evaluation, Commercial Contract Understanding, Risk Mitigation, Commodity Market + Proven leadership ability to coach associates, manage functional teams while promoting teamwork, delegation, individual responsibility and positive employee morale. + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team. + Global mindset and excellent communication skills to efficiently communicate across all levels in the organization. + Good time management and project management skills to organize and plan effectively in developing effective systems and processes. **Employee Benefits** We are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment: + Bonus system + Paid vacation + Flexible working hour + Possibility to work remotely + Pension plan + Personal insurance + Communication packag + Opportunity to join Employee Resource Group + State of the art virtual work environment + Employee Referral Program This list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
