Sourcing Developer, Apparel

**ABOUT YOUR ROLE:**
_You will be an integral part of the sourcing team, working with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that our products are developed at the forefront of sustainability and in alignment with the brand design and future vision._
_You will support your manager to ensure all products hit the calendar deadline dates, working with the brand development teams, and the sourcing headquarters in Singapore._
_You will be supporting the Sourcing Manager/ Assistant Sourcing Manager, to execute the multi-year sourcing strategy to support brand growth._
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:**
_(but not limited to)_
+ _Ensure adherence to the brand development calendar timeline, effectively raising problems, when found and discuss solutions with your manager_
+ _Work with vendor to deliver on-time execution of all samples and support technical design requirements for the assigned brand category_
+ _Work with your manager to understand the brand product development strategies and execute operational activities with internal teams and vendors independently_
+ _Effectively implement work plans with regular monitoring against the direction and work with your manager to prioritise actions with internal and external counterparts._
+ _Analysing data and provide summaries to support vendor performance_
+ _Accountable to work with internal stakeholders across Production, Global Material Supply, Logistics and Quality teams to achieve the brand goals and objectives._
+ _Confidently speak up and express your own views with authenticity and provide supporting data to improve efficiencies_
+ _Participate in company-wide initiatives to promote VF purpose activation and to improve VF Asia Product Supply systems and processes._
**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:**
+ _Proven experience in development of knitted and woven apparel with an exposure to handling a diverse product collection will be an advantage_
+ _Passionate about product and possess a curious and open mindset to learn_
+ _Strong learning agility and an aptitude for working in a digital environment._
+ _Openness to understand change and agility to adapt, maintain effectiveness in a rapidly changing environment_
+ _Aware of personal career aspirations, strengths, areas for improvement and leverages the resources available for self-development_
+ _Respects different perspectives with an open mindset to learn to grow_
**EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE**
+ _Academic Degree. Textile or related field Preferred. OR equivalent years of experience in working within the textile and apparel/ footwear industry_
+ _Working Experience 3-5 years related to sourcing_
+ _Language Proficiency: Good communication skills in English. Local language proficiency will be an advantage._
+ _Exposure to digital platforms for developing product, driving process efficiency will be a huge advantage_
