We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions. **The Role:** Xylem’s organization is seeking an accomplished Source2Pay Data Manager with experience deploying Source to Pay and ERP systems. This position will work in close partnership with Xylem’s Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership. As the Source2Pay Data Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Source to Pay Master and transactional Data (including, but not limited to, Vendor Master Data, Purchase Orders, Purchasing Info Records, Quota Arrangements, Material, etc.) within Xylem. He/she will be responsible for implementing Source to Pay Data Governance across the business and maturing this over time. This critical role will encompass all aspects of the data lifecycle from creation to destruction, ensuring quality assurance and maintenance of data essential for effective decision-making and operations across the organization. **Principal Responsibilities:** + **Governance & Strategy** Develop and enforce global Pro data governance policies, standards, and controls. Lead a network of business-aligned data stewards to implement governance practices and ensure alignment with global strategy. + **Data Maintenance & Harmonization** Define scalable processes for maintaining, cleansing, and standardizing Procurement master data (e.g., vendors, materials, purchasing info records). + **Quality & Stewardship** Establish KPIs and data quality dashboards in partnership with the MDM team. Guide stewards and data owners in resolving quality issues and maintaining compliance. + **Documentation & Metadata** Maintain authoritative documentation including data models, dictionaries, and governance procedures. Keep governance materials updated as systems evolve. + **Training & Support** Train data stewards and end-users on governance policies and data-entry standards. Provide ongoing guidance and resolve escalated data issues. + **Security & Compliance** Advise on data access, role-based controls, and privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) related to procurement data. + **Strategic Advisory** Contribute to Xylems data strategy roadmap, identifying opportunities for Procurement data to drive insights, efficiency, and business value. **Qualifications:** + At least 7/8 years of previous experience in complex manufacturing company; + Experience in the Supply chain & Procurement domain and MDM scenarios + Proven experience in Master Data Management and Data Governance role. + Strong understanding of data quality and data security principles. + Familiarity with data management tools and systems. + Understanding of modern Master Data Management Concepts and Data Quality approaches, tools, techniques, vendor landscape, and best practices. + Proven analytical abilities when managing ambiguity, supporting process management, process re-engineering, and data management. + Demonstrated problem-solving skills using available resources, and proactive escalate when additional resources may be required. + **Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required** + **Knowledge of any other languages will be considered a plus** **Other requirements:** + Adaptability + Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels + Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively. + Proven organization and priority setting skills + Experience with at least one enterprise Master Data Management Tool such as Informatica + Certifications with MDM Tools. + Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g. Data Protection Act, GDPR). + Previous experience in master data processing and ERP and S2p systems, preferably SAP and Coupa. **LOCATION** : Italy – preferably Milan or Vicenza **TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS** : 20% Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
