THE JOB:

Joining the Facilities Department at MGM Springfield as a Sound Video Tech offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional entertainment experiences. Your role will involve working closely with teams during performances, rehearsals, and maintenance to ensure seamless sound and video operations, contributing to the overall guest experience by maintaining high-quality technical support that surpasses expectations.

THE STARTING RATE: $27.00 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Tour the property and monitor all systems to verify that they are operatingProvide quality control on audio visual (A/V) systems to make sure they are working properlyRespond to calls from various departmentsPerform preventive maintenance on A/V equipment and systemsTroubleshoot the A/V systems and look for any potential problemsRepair and maintain electronic equipment such as audio, video, sound, and projection systemsAssist with upgrades and new installations of complex audio, video, projection, automated control, switching and distribution systemsMaintain system service information and personal daily work logs

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Has high school diploma, GED or equivalentThis position requires 3+ years of prior relevant experience in audio/ visual (A/V) field. Do you meet these requirements
