Responsibilities

Join our Diagnostic Imaging Center as we are seeking an Ultrasound Diagnostic Tech II to join our team who is passionate about the health and well-being of our patients to performs all levels of ultrasound procedures related to specialty, assist with evaluations of equipment and procedures and act as a liaison for ultrasound interdepartmental procedures. Performs General ultrasound, Interventional Ultrasound and high risk OB exams as ordered. Reviews & presents test results for physician interpretation. Prioritizes exams and workflow. Performs exams portably and interdepartmentally.

Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.


Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:HS Diploma/GED
One year continuous experience performing ultrasound in a clinical settingCompletion of ARDMS or ARRT approved ultrasound training program or hospital-based ultrasound training programARDMS or ARRT registeredPREFERRED:ARDMS or ARRT registered in at least two subspecialtiesTwo years continuous experience performing ultrasound in a clinical settingA.A. or higher college level degree Overview
