We are currently seeking experienced-level Mechanics to join our Boart Longyear team. This is an “on the road” position with a 14/7 roster including potential night-shift work hours. ResponsibilitiesAssisting with repairs on diesel powered hydraulic systems and machinerySupporting and assisting with diagnosis of hydraulic problems in equipment with a quick turnaround for getting rigs back in operationsPerforming basic maintenance of equipmentWorking safely while meeting all compliance requirements
Minimum QualificationsTypically requires a HS Diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of tools and mechanical systems preferredBasic knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations preferred or willingness to learnBasic knowledge of duplex and triplex mud pumps preferred or willingness to learnAble to list 50 pounds frequentlyAbility to work in adverse weather conditions and a demanding 14-on/7-off schedule with night shift potential.Must be willing to travel to field locations across the USStrong communication skills and the ability to work within a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft SuiteWillingness to acquire necessary toolsMust have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDLMust be able to be MSHA/OSHA certified
