The team leads global enterprise initiatives that simplify complex technical details for legal, business, and commercial teams while translating pivotal strategic new product initiatives into clear, actionable requirements for engineering partners. **Description** We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the Music Publishing team at Apple, someone with a strong blend of technical expertise, business intelligence, and user-centered design thinking. This role requires deep product intuition, sharp analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex operational needs into scalable, elegant systems. As a Product Manager you will collaborate closely with engineering, publishing operations, legal, finance, and commercial development teams. There will be involvement in multiple high impact initiatives including business expansion, process automation, compliance, and cost efficiency improvements. You will help define and deliver the tools needed for accurate and timely royalty payments and reporting. Success in this role demands critical thinking, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment where proactive communication and attention to detail are essential. YOU WILL: - Lead projects from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment across all collaborators - Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop user friendly, scalable solutions that solve key business challenges - Translate business needs into clear product requirements, including documentation, workflows, diagrams, and user stories - Dive into technical details as needed to support engineering, QA, and analytics efforts - Help shape product roadmaps by identifying current and future business needs, proposing solutions, and recommending prioritization If you are passionate about designing products that bring clarity, efficiency, and trust in complex systems, and want to make an impact at the center of music and technology, we would love to hear from you. **Minimum Qualifications** + 5+ years of experience driving technical and financial products + Experience leading software and system implementations across large organizations + Proficient in defining technical product requirements, process flows, and business requirement documents (BRDs) + Skilled in writing user stories and conducting detailed UAT testing + Outstanding ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes using Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Keynote, and similar tools. + Solid understanding of UI/UX principles to deliver intuitive, efficient user experiences + Ability to interpret and review system architecture and data models **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in media, music, or rights management + Ability to understand business process gaps and deliver practical solutions + Familiarity with waterfall and agile software development methodologies + Define and test RESTful APIs + Competency with parsing JSON and writing SQL + Ability to handle large data files using UNIX commands, shell scripts + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
