As a Solutions Engineer at Cisco, you will work closely with the Service Provider Sales team to identify customer needs, demonstrate Cisco solutions, and design tailored products that drive digital transformation. You will provide expert technical guidance focused on customer success and aligned outcomes, while enjoying the flexibility to manage your work in a way that delivers the best results for both customers and your team. This role combines technical expertise with strong communication to connect customer business drivers to Cisco solutions effectively.

Your Impact:

Gain access to the broad range of Cisco technologies and applications across the Service Provider market. Direct account and partner responsibilities, staying informed about competitive solutions, products and services. Provide technical and sales support withing your assigned territory, delivering compelling technical presentations to customers, partners and prospects. Assist in developing formal technical sales plans and proposals for key opportunities. Lead pre-sale activities such as quoting, network design, technical and financial proposals, and pre-sale testing, etc. Demonstrate expertise in cross-architectural solutions spanning Service Provider Routing, Service Provider Mobility, Cloud Compute, Data Center Routing and Switching, Security, Automation and more. Alongside your technical skills, you will continuously learn and stay current on networking trends to drive customer success and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

Enterprise Networking and Routing/Switching Expertise: Demonstrated ability to design, present, and validate scalable enterprise network architectures using Cisco routing and switching solutions and Software Defined Access. Wireless and Access Security Proficiency: Skilled in deploying and integrating Cisco wireless solutions with embedded access security features, ensuring secure and seamless connectivity across enterprise environments. SD-WAN Solution Design and Implementation: Proven experience in planning, designing, and supporting Cisco SD-WAN solution (or competitive products), including migration assessments, implementation planning, and solution validation to meet business and technical requirements. ThousandEyes Network Intelligence Integration: Ability to leverage Cisco ThousandEyes for end-to-end network and application performance monitoring, enabling rapid identification and resolution of network issues across internal, ISP, and cloud environments. Expertise in Cisco Collaboration Technologies: Proficiency with Cisco Webex platform (including calling, messaging, meetings, and content sharing), Cisco Meeting Server, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and Cisco Expressway for secure remote access, conferencing and contact center solutions. DevNet and Network Automation Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in network automation and programmability using Cisco DevNet tools and certifications. Skills include automating workflows across network, security, collaboration, and computing infrastructures using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying automated network solutions to streamline operations and improve scalability and reliability. Secure Access and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Expertise: Proven ability to design, present, and implement Cisco Secure Access solutions that provide seamless, cloud-delivered Security Service Edge (SSE) capabilities. This includes secure private access, secure internet access, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), secure web gateway (SWG), cloud access security broker (CASB), firewall-as-a-service (FWaaS), and data loss prevention (DLP). Experience with integrating identity providers (e.g., SAML-based SSO with Azure AD, Okta) and deploying Cisco Secure Client for remote and on-premises users to ensure secure, frictionless access from any device or location. Ability to leverage Cisco Talos threat intelligence and AI-assisted policy management to mitigate risks and enforce granular security policies. 5+ years of shown success in designing end-to-end enterprise network.

Preferred Qualifications

Cisco CCNP / CCIE certifications or equivalent is preferred. Presales experience working with telecom/service provider customers. Strong understanding of adjacent technologies/architecture such as Data Center, Security, Cloud, AI, virtualization. Skilled in understanding the customers’ business drivers and aligning these to Cisco solutions. Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers and Cisco. Have hands on experience in routing and switching products. Capabilities to lead a group of people with various technical background. Fluency in Arabic language.
