We are now looking for a motivated and technically curious Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in Iberia (based in Madrid), supporting both Splunk’s Core Platform and Security solutions. This is a pre-sales role for someone with a solid technical foundation, strong interest in security and data analytics, and a desire to grow within a world-class pre-sales organization. If you have experience working with Splunk or are already certified, and want to take the next step supporting major enterprise customers, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** + Collaborate with the account team during the sales cycle to identify customer needs and demonstrate how Splunk can address them. + Support the design and delivery of technical demos, product overviews, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs). + Assist in developing use cases and showing customers how Splunk can solve real-world problems across IT and Security operations. + Participate in discovery meetings and gather technical requirements to align Splunk’s solutions to customer objectives. + Work with senior Solutions Engineers to develop and maintain technical content (dashboards, searches, architecture diagrams, etc.). + Deliver presentations to customer audiences, both remotely and in person. + Stay up to date with Splunk product capabilities and roadmap; become a trusted technical voice in the sales team. + Participate in events, webinars, and hands-on workshops. **Preferred Skills and Experience** + 2–4 years of experience in a technical or customer-facing role (pre-sales, consulting, implementation, or support). + Practical exposure to Splunk (e.g., through real projects, labs, or internal use). + Familiarity with use cases in IT operations, cybersecurity, log analysis, or monitoring. + Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools (SIEM, alerting, dashboards, incident response workflows). + Understanding of data ingestion, parsing, field extraction, and working with SPL (Search Processing Language). + Comfortable working with Linux/Unix environments and common command-line tools. + Basic familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) or automation concepts is a plus. + Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. + Very high proficiency in **Spanish and English** , both spoken and written, is strictly required for this role.
