Arvato is a leading provider of innovative supply chain solutions, dedicated to optimising operational efficiency and delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a talented and experienced Solutions Design Manager to join our dynamic team.
As a Solutions Design Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the relevant workstreams to collaborate for tender opportunities and strategic projects and supporting the development of the solution that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and execute logistics strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. 

Your Tasks Facilitating, Co-ordinating and Responding to tenders in collaboration with the global Logistics engineer design team, calculators (Finance Business partners) and other relevant work streams to that project. Analyse client requirements and help transform them into solutions in collaboration with Logistic Engineers that can be translated into financial business models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and IT to ensure solutions are feasible and seamlessly implemented. Facilitate and control of the entire process from receipt of tender (RFI, RFP, RFQ) to internal approval and submission to the customer (Bid management) Collaborate with customers throughout the tender process to understand their evolving needs and proactively propose enhancements. Monitor and analyse the performance of design solutions in 3PL Industry, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization. Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Solutions design, highlighting project workload, project status, and key performance indicators monitored through regular pipeline reviews.

 

Your Profile A multi-skilled individual who has the ability to co-ordinate, control and have a strong level of influence when working with project stakeholders to support the design of a solution. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels, demonstrating gravitas, impact, and credibility. Experience in stakeholder management within a customer-driven environment, with the ability to influence and inspire others to improve customer experience. Commercially astute with the ability to recognise when changes are made to the solution and how they impact internal protocols and financial targets. A deep understanding of financials and commercial contracts in the logistics industry with the ability to design cost-effective models based on specific types of agreements. Experience in specifying, sourcing, and managing the implementation of relevant equipment and services within a warehouse and operational design. An understanding of how operations, account management, IT, and logistic engineering functions collaborate to build solutions.
