Solutions Consultant, Restaurant

As a dedicated Solutions Consultant for the Restaurant Vertical, you will be the strategic technical partner that bridges pre-sales strategy, data storytelling, and industry credibility. This is not your typical SC role, it goes beyond demos and scopes. You're embedded with marketing, sales, and a new industry lead to establish Numerator as a category leader in the Restaurant segment. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in early-stage GTM builds, brings deep restaurant or research knowledge, and knows how to craft compelling narratives from complex data. What You'll Do: Pre-Sales Partnership + Join early-stage discovery and solutioning sessions with prospects to surface value-driving use cases. + Lead technical storytelling that translates data into clear insights for restaurant clients. + Act as second-chair in calls to support Sales Directors and reduce executive dependency. Thought Leadership & Industry Credibility + Collaborate directly with Marketing to create thought leadership, content assets, and outreach collateral + Uncover compelling insights from restaurant data and package them for outbound campaigns. + Contribute to developing tailored narratives and content pieces to address restaurant challenges. + Act as the pre-sales internal expert for restaurant data interpretation and trends. + Work alongside the incoming Industry Lead to define outreach strategy, develop messaging, and prioritize accounts. + Partner with Product and Consulting as needed to evolve restaurant specific offerings. What Success Looks Like + You are embedded across Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Leadership for restaurant GTM efforts. + You reduce ramp time for new Sales Directors by owning early call flow and data storytelling. + You help drive a measurable increase in restaurant pipeline and lead gen conversion. + You enable Marketing to move faster by surfacing data insights. + You’re a trusted partner to the Industry Lead for restaurant vertical expansion. + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Master’s degree a plus) + 5+ years in a pre-sales, consulting, insights, or analytics-focused role. + Background in restaurant or foodservice research, ideally within syndicated data, market intelligence, or vendor solutions. + Strong grasp of consumer panel data (Circana/NielsenIQ) or equivalent behavioral datasets. + Proven experience building cross-functional partnerships (sales, marketing, product). + Exceptional storytelling skills—can translate data into clear business implications. + Comfortable working in ambiguity and iterating quickly. + Willingness to travel (as needed) to support in-person client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration sessions.
