Our Diagnostics R&D group is looking for a Solutions Business Manager Developer/Administrator to join our office in Irving, TX or Abbott Park, IL.
You will support development teams across the Diagnostic R&D Group in building and maintaining Solutions Business Manager (SBM) applications. Responsibilities include application development, installation, debugging, testing, upgrades, and configuration across three SBM environments. You will also serve as a subject matter expert and primary training contact for the Engineering Services department regarding SBM applications.
Responsibilities
Administration and global user support of SBMDeveloping efficient applications that are complaint to a specific Operating Procedure or ProcessCreating technical documentation that documents an SBM application, formal protocols for testing an SBM application, as well as plan documents from Software Project Plans to Requirements documents and trace documentation.Capable of comprehending an Operating Procedure or Process document and convert into an SBM application that is compliant with the document.Executing informal and validation testingCreating and providing training to users on SBM applications and basics of SBM functionalityThis position is technical in nature and individual will research the development of current industry technology and trends under direct span of control and disseminate to other personnelEducation and Experience
Associate’s degree required, prefer a bachelor’s degree. Computer Science or other related field.3+ years’ experience in an IT environment as well as data management systems supporting engineering or manufacturing disciplines2+ years’ experience in engineering data management systems such as Solutions Business Manager in an engineering and/or manufacturing development environmentWeb Design experience would be an added plus as newer versions of SBM are incorporating the ability to enhance form development through HTML5 complianceDemonstrated ability with VB Scripting and/or Java scriptingWill be required to demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, focusing on application development of SBM applicationsAbility to utilize Microsoft WORD for development of supporting Non-Product Software supporting documentationAbility to manage multiple projects from start to completion using a Software Development Life Cycle processCompletes complex tasks under minimal supervision or guidanceApply Now

The base pay for this position is $85,300.00 – $170,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
