Job Description - Scans new technologies and solutions across domains and determine the applicability / relevance to Globe’s strategy
- Scans New Use Cases being deployed in other markets which will leverage on both existing and new technologies
- Develops ideas to monetize the solution or identify network/customer pain points that the solution will address
- Defines the high-level service & network design guidelines in support of new technologies and solutions across network domains.

Conducts Technology study, Technical assessments including the development of 3-Year Technology Strategy and Roadmap across Transport, Cable and Facility domains. Assess viability of new technologies to complement existing or develop new services and products 

Engage close collaboration with SingTel, Optus, Airtel, Telkomsel and other associates on best practices, strategy alignment and technology updates. Serves as Point person or SME for DICT, NTC and other technology organizations conference engagements

Aligns with GSMA, 3GPP, IEEE, etc. to develop the technology strategy and adopts best practices

Conducts inter group and inter department including Territory Team cascade for new and innovative technologies.  

Execute technical assessment for 5G, IoT and AI for Network solutions. Serve as technical subject matter expert on new and innovative solutions for Facilities

Conducts technical site survey to validate customer requirements and assess viability of solutions for Use Cases

Conducts testbed testing, pilot trial and live deployment testing of Use Cases and sustainability initiatives

Align and collaborate with partner vendors, systems integrators, and MNO’s abroad for best practices and new Use Cases deployments. 

Development and pilot deployment of innovative solutions as a result of rigid study and technical assessment

Conducts technical site survey to validate new technologies, new innovative solutions and Save2Grow initiatives

Conducts testbed and live pilot trial for new and innovative solutions

Conducts site validation and thorough assessment of unactivated network features across that will be relevant in achieving efficiency and cost savings including incremental revenue

Develops Process, Procedure and Manuals for new, emerging and innovative solutions

Creates and Cascades High Level Design during Testbed testing, live pilot trial and actual site deployments

Crafts new deployment guidelines for technologies and innovative solutions covering Transport, Cable and Facilities and Backend in collaboration with different domains. Crafts Use Case Deployment Guideline and Technical Assessments
