About the Role

Responsible for ensuring AIA's products, services and internal operations / business processes meet the required quality standards

The analyst will support the execution and implementation of the system enhancements in Life Operations through participation in the following:

Participate in the end to end system delivery and implementation of strategic projects and BAU enhancements as prioritized by business, following AIA Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)

Discuss and map out AS-IS processes, design the TO-BE Process, detailing out business rules, end-to-end solutions, and new enhancements required.

Ensure business requirements are thorough and address current and future needs.

Evaluate options or alternative high-level solutions with Technology team and make appropriate recommendations to the users.

Translate business requirements into test scenarios, conditions and the expected results for user acceptance testing (UAT).

Conduct & review UAT according to the approved/ agreed test plan.

Contribute to the overall planning of the project timeline and resources, effective monitoring of the project status and plans.

Coach and guide extended junior staff/ tester in the UAT execution.

Prepare & review training materials for business team.

Continuously seek improvements in her/his area of work expertise so as to improve quality and productivity

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Business IT, Computer Science, or similar discipline.

8-10 years of experience in life insurance operations, with system knowledge preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time management and organization.

Logical and analytical mindset for workflow implementation.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Meticulous with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Good knowledge experience as Business Analyst & User Acceptance Testing

Able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and as a team player.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn & share.
