Job Description
What You'll Do:
Lead design, development, and implementation of AWS Lambda-based solutions for customer alert system.Serve as SME for technologies including AWS Lambda and customer alert system.Interpret system specifications and evaluate proposed process improvements.Implement Salesforce services with AWS cloud-based customer alerts system to push notifications to customers.Lead software testing processes through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and software certification.Provide training, mentoring, and direction to others on the team.Participate in 24/7 on-call support activities.What We're Looking For:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field and 8 years of development experience that includes at least 5 years of the following:
Designing, developing and implementing of software applications in AWS.Designing and developing AWS services and deployment strategies using AWS code pipeline, AWS cloud formation, and other services including code commit and container services.Full stack development utilizing AWS services.Managing alerting systems.Interfacing with Salesforce systems.Using React, Node JS, REST and AWS to design and develop various web and enterprise applications.3 years of utility industry experience.Alternatively, employer will accept a master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience as described above.
What You’ll Get:
Compensation Range: $138,590 to $158,017 annually

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Although the location is flexible, AEP does not have a presence in all states and localities.
