Solution Director I

To enable our clients to focus on what matters most, we employ a customer-centric, hard-working, and talented group of people that Act Like an Owner, Do the Right Thing, and Have Fun Doing It! **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Solution Director I (Solution Director) solutions single-tower new business opportunities, change orders and renewals for existing clients by developing compelling win, solution and price strategies to meet client requirements. The Solution Director I creates proposals, contractual documentation and internal financial documents as required to complete the assignment per Compucom guidelines. The Solution Director I participates in pre-sales activities and assists the sales team in identifying and qualifying then leading pursuits. “Project Manage” end to end RFx response lifecycle so that the deliverables are high quality and on time. Leads and guides the team to develop the solution, pricing, proposal creation and presentations to the customer. **RESPONSABILITIES:** + Responds to client inquiries and RFX, develops proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), Change Orders (CO) for assigned opportunities. + Leads customer discovery workshops to understand business issues/objectives, projects and problem statements of customers/prospects. + Stays current on technology changes in the market, competitive analysis and understanding differentiators between CompuCom and its competitors. + Assesses and mitigates risks through the solution design and contract language. + Identifies subject matter experts required to develop solution and cost for assigned opportunities; in some cases, may be fully responsible for the end-to-end solution and commercials utilizing approved internal tools and materials. + Evaluates and deconstructs RFx documents to segment requirements, data points and underlying business challenges in support of solution development and win theme planning. + Leads pursuit and solution process, including responses to RFx, renewals and change orders. + Guides the pursuit team to develop a cohesive solution, price, proposal creation and presentation for the customer. + Ownership of the proposal deliverables and authoring activities taking ownership of the solution and provide guidance, support and coaching to authors and other contributors + Works with internal stakeholders such as sales and delivery to establish price strategies and obtain approvals per CompuCom business rules. + Follows commercial risk management process consulting management team and legal as applicable. + Secures all appropriate approvals from required parties and required signatures according to current business process and rules.Level of Formal Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceArea of Study:Information Technology, Business, ProcessYears of Experience:3-5 years of experience in IT outsourcing or related fieldType of Experience:Strong technical and pre-sales knowledge in multiple areas of IT infrastructure services. Project management experience. Proposal Management experience required.
