Solution Consultant Growth Leader
Aon is looking for a Solution Consultant Growth Leader As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aon business group. This role can be worked virtually from anywhere in the United States. Your Impact as the Solution Consultant Growth Leader The Solution Consultant Leader is responsible for Aon’s Solution Consultant Team. Leading one of the most dynamic teams in voluntary benefits and solutions using expertise in product consulting and knowledge on how those products fit on various industry platforms for prospective clients during the sales process as well as existing clients during renewal discussions. The primary focus of the Solution consultant is to communicate product suite and Aon value propositions externally to prospective clients and brokers. The Solution Consultant Leader is responsible for managing the Solution Consultants across the country from process and prospect stage through the hand-off to the implementation team. In addition, the Solution Consultant Leader is responsible for being a part of growth leadership in a dynamic and fast paced organization. Job Responsibilities: Manages a team of sales consultants across the country Create training manuals and processes Educates team members on specific strategies, solutions, and industry changes Works with the internal carrier relations team to ensure a streamlined and efficient process Works with multiple department heads to ensure collaboration and go forward strategies Responsible for all industry quote reporting and metrics to department leadership Collaborates with leadership to communicate market knowledge and sales process and to keep abreast of operations Partners with practice consulting arm to strengthen integration Assists Solutions Team in the development of sales strategy Knowledge and Expertise Maintains subject matter expertise on Voluntary Benefit products and Voluntary Benefit carriers Maintains expertise in proprietary and 3rd party Benefits Administration systems Articulates and communicates high level industry knowledge and differentiators to key stockholders within the organization You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Five plus years of employee benefits industry experience Five plus years managing project schedules Experience working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as operations, product management, and the development team). Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, brokers, vendors and other business contacts. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal, writing and listening skills and the ability to multitask and organize. Preferred Experience: Sales and other client engagement experience Excellent Microsoft office suite skills including Excel, OneNote, Word and PowerPoint. Microsoft Access is a plus Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $150 to $175K annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of State/Region. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
