We are looking for a Systems & Solutions Architect for Professional Services to join our team and support customer projects across EMEA that require customized software and solution engagements. With us, you will help integrate our Vision, Audio, and Radar products into customer workflows while supporting sales opportunities with a focus on Professional Services.
This is an international role and travel within EMEA and to Lund will be considered a natural part of the job. We would like you to be based near one of our offices in EMEA: Czechia – Prague, England – Luton; France – Paris, Germany – Munich (Ismaning); Italy – Milan; Netherlands – Rotterdam; Poland – Warsaw; Spain – Madrid; Sweden – Lund. The position is hybrid and reports to the Engineering, Training and Portfolio Strategy team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SSA?
As an Professional Services SSA (Systems and Solutions Architect), you will be responsible for coordinating and driving sales opportunities that involve Professional Services and custom software engagements. You will act as the commercial and organizational bridge between customers, regional sales teams, and our technical experts. This role is focused on understanding business needs, ensuring projects are scoped properly, and driving opportunities to successful closure.
You will work on active sales projects and proactively identify new opportunities for custom development together with our sales teams. Although you are not expected to write production-level code, a strong understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and system architecture is valuable.
Responsibilities
Manage incoming customer requests for Professional Services and support the sales pipeline across the EMEA region.
Act as the key commercial contact in sales meetings involving Professional Services engagements.Coordinate with Solutions Architects, developers, and project managers to ensure customer needs are translated into deliverable projects.Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, ensuring proper forecasting, pipeline visibility, and reporting.Support regional sales managers in identifying and following up on new Professional Services opportunities.Educate internal stakeholders on the scope, process, and value of Axis customization offerings.Track and manage ongoing opportunities across multiple regions, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth deliveryWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a sales-driven and collaborative individual who understands how to connect customer needs with Professional Services capabilities. You have strong communication and organizational skills, enjoy working with both customers and internal teams, and are energized by seeing projects through from opportunity to delivery. While you don’t need to be hands-on technical, you should be comfortable discussing solution concepts and coordinating with technical colleagues.
We believe you have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.Experience in sales or account management, preferably within Professional Services, software, or technology environments.Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM skills.Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and how models are applied in software environmentsAbility to analyze customer requirements and coordinate solutions with technical experts.Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, technical specialists, and product managers.Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.Organized and structured approach to managing multiple opportunities across regions.Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.This role involves occasional travel across the EMEA region for customer meetings and internal collaboration.
