The Solution Architect External Access Services will be responsible to design, implement, and optimize our Business Partner Access services portfolio together with the service team. The incumbent will be responsible for designing a secure, reliable, and efficient architecture for external access that meets the needs of Continental Tires, connected companies and external partners. Additionally, the role involves identifying synergies across other solutions within the Tires IT infrastructure portfolio to co-develop cohesive target designs. **In detail your tasks include:** + Architecture and Design: Lead the redesign of Business Partner Access services to ensure they meet the evolving needs of Continental Tires. Develop and design robust architectures for external access services, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and efficient. + Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including managed service providers, software and hardware vendors, technical teams, business units, and group sectors, to understand their needs and ensure the solutions align with their requirements. + Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance on BPA technologies, best practices, and industry standards and oversee the implementation of redesigned external access solutions, ensuring they are deployed effectively and efficiently. + Continous Improvement: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of BPA services to ensure high availability and reliability, derive optimizations and ensure all solutions comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices. + Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of solution designs, architectures, and implementation processes. Your qualification: + Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience + Several years of experience in network architecture or a related role, with a focus on VPN and RADIUS. Skills: + Strong understanding of network technologies protocols. + Experience with network security principles and best practices. + Proficiency in designing and implementing complex network architectures. + Experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS, Azure, Alibaba and/or Google Cloud) + Proficient in English, both spoken and written and intercultural sensitivity + Knowledge in agile frameworks, ITSM processes and DevOps (automation, infrastructure/configuration as code) is a plus Preferred Qualifications: + Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent. + Proven work experience as a network architect or in a similar role is crucial. + Profound knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, trends and paradigms of IT Being part of a global IT team of thousands of colleagues working on various innovations and tasks, there is always an opportunity to grow and move into different directions within our corporation.
