Solution Architect - Cloud Architecture, Microservices & API - 5+ months - Remote - Start ASAP
For our international client we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (Cloud Architecture, Microservices & API).
Your main task is to support the project team in designing and governing enterprise-wide, scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions.
You need to have strong project experience across cloud architectures, microservices, API-led integration and DevOps practices.
Tasks:
* Act as Senior Solution Architect
* Define and lead enterprise-wide solution architecture
* Design architecture and implement cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions
* Design and optimize microservices, event-driven, and serverless architecture
* Ensure best practices and governance for API-led architectures
* Ensure DevSecOps adoption
* Lead and mentor solution architects and engineering teams
* Regular coordination with the team and business
Requirements:
* Long-term project experience as Senior Solution Architect (10 years +)
* Project experience with Cloud Computing Architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP) - Kubernetes experience nice to have
* Project experience with Microservices
* Experience with API led integration/DevOps
* Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, leveraging API gateways, ESBs, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
* Experience with SAP Integration Suite - Must have
* Strong proficiency in modern programming languages, such as Python, Java, C#, or Go - at least one as a programmer
* Experience in database architectures, including SQL, NoSQL, data lakes, caching
* At least 1 year of experience in agile/Dev ops environments
* Nice to have: Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or equivalent)
* Experience in international projects
* Fluency in English
Project details:
* Start: ASAP
* Duration: 5 months
* Workload: 5 days per week
* Location: Mainly remote, some on site work for Workshops in Germany may be required once a quarter
* Languages: Fluency in English
