We are looking for Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the modernization of legacy EDI systems. The role involves designing scalable, secure, and future-ready architecture to support B2B integrations, data exchange, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with legacy EDI platforms and modern integration technologies such as APIs, cloud-based EDI solutions, and middleware.

You’ll make a difference by:

Architecture Design & Strategy

Assess current EDI infrastructure, protocols (e.g., X12, EDIFACT), and partner integrations.Define target architecture using modern technologies (e.g., REST APIs, cloud-based EDI platforms).Develop migration strategies including phased transitions, dual-run environments, and rollback plans.

Integration & Data Flow Design

Design secure and scalable data exchange mechanisms between internal systems and external partners.Define mapping, transformation, and validation rules for EDI documents.Ensure compatibility with ERP, CRM, and supply chain systems.

Technology Evaluation & Implementation

Evaluate and recommend modern EDI platforms, middleware, and integration tools.Lead implementation of cloud-native solutions and API gateways.Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities.

Security, Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS).Implement encryption, authentication, and audit mechanisms for data exchange.Establish governance frameworks for partner onboarding and data integrity.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business analysts, integration developers, and external trading partners.Present architectural decisions and migration plans to stakeholders.Facilitate design reviews, technical workshops, and partner coordination meetings.

You’ll win us over by:

8+ years of experience in solution architecture with a focus on EDI and B2B integrations.Strong understanding of legacy EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT), VANs, and AS2/FTP protocols.Experience with modern integration technologies (APIs, ESB, iPaaS, cloud platforms).Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and supply chain processes.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.Experience with EDI modernization tools (e.g., Cleo, OpenText, IBM Sterling).Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
