Presentation/teaser to the position:
The work location for this position will be based “in-house” for a major Norwegian oil and gas operator. There will be daily internal and external engagement to understand our customers challenges and long-term Geoscience goals and objectives. By using Halliburton’s services and technology, the successful candidate will deliver bespoke integrated solutions to help out customer meet their goals.
The candidate will have an important role towards delivering services to our customers and suppliers.

Qualifications:
Master's degree (MSc) within (Enter specific field of study, e.g. chemistry, petroleum technology, petroleum geology, environment and chemistry etc.)
10+ years as a Petrophysicist, LWD or Wireline Technical Advisor, Geoscientist or an equivalent customer facing position where being deployed “in-house” will be an advantage Experience integrating Well Logs, Core Analysis, mudlogging and other geoscience data is required Geoscience experience in a broad amount of projects/clients Strong Technical subsurface knowledge in both Geoscience and Drilling Customer facing experience in a technical job role with a proven track record in developing solutions Bachelor degree (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering (Master is preferred), Geology, Science or strongly related fields Processing of borehole image logs, structural dip picking, NMR and NMR 2D diffusion interpretation is beneficial Experience with Petrophysical and Geoscience software such as DS Petrophysics, Geolog, IP, Techlog, DS Geoscience, Petrel, IRAP RMS Fluency in English verbally and written required, beneficial with a Norwegian language Excellent communication skills Solution oriented, adaptable and flexible to move within Norway
