Solderer - Pay starting at $16.00 per hour

Our client in Havana, FL is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. In this role, you will perform precision soldering, cleaning, and rework of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs), as well as assemble cables, wire harnesses, and electronic enclosures. You will work from detailed Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs), schematics, and drawings to ensure high-quality assembly and compliance with industry standards.

What will you be doing?

•    Understanding of ESD handling requirements;
•    Understanding of different types of flux and solder;
•    Understanding and use of MPl's and BOM's;
•    Understanding of Through-hole and SMT components: polarity, placement, etc.
•    Understanding of the differences in leaded and lead-free solder and components and ability to solder both leaded and lead-free assemblies (after training);
•    Inspect assemblies for defects such as: wrong polarity, bridging, solder shorts, solder balls, excess solder, insufficient solder, etc.
•    Clean assemblies (how and when to clean);
•    Use and clean solder iron and proper solder tips.
