**Responsibilities:**
+ Assemble, install, and maintain ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
+ Measure, cut, and assemble solar modules, panels, and support structures according to blueprints and specifications
+ Secure solar panels using bolts, clamps, or other fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and tilt
+ Connect solar panels to electrical systems using wiring, inverters, and other components
+ Perform layout and site preparation, including trenching and mounting structure installation
+ Test systems for proper functionality and troubleshoot issues as needed
+ Follow all safety guidelines, including fall protection and electrical safety standards
+ Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and torque wrenches
+ Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and manufacturer instructions
+ Work closely with electricians, project managers, and other crew members to meet project timelines
+ Maintain clean and organized job sites, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or GED (required)
+ Prior experience with solar panel installation including mechanical or electrical
+ Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand/power tools
+ Comfortable working at heights
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs, kneel, bend, and work in various outdoor weather conditions
+ Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE requirements (OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus)
+ Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schematics, or technical drawings
+ Strong teamwork and communication skills
+ Reliable transportation to and from job sites
+ Willingness to travel or work extended hours as needed NCCER, NABCEP, or relevant solar certifications (a plus but not required)
