Applications to be consumed byVDIsessions and thick clients - Validation of mission application behavior with application testers and mission SMEs - Incorporation of required sequencing changes into the app sequencing process - Identification of user application settings that need to be persisted in a non-persistent VDI environment - Identification of automation opportunities for application sequencing - Assistance with application delivery infrastructure configuration as needed - Improvement of backup/Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations - Articulation of knowledge in written designs, test plans, and implementation plans - Performance of work without appreciable direction - Working with VMware software defined data center products for troubleshooting and performance tuning - Analysis, testing, and application of regular security patches and software updates - Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and training for team members - Incident resolution and fulfillment of software requests Required Qualifications and Skills: - 5+ years of experience withSystems Administration/Virtualization - 8140.01M IAT Level II certification - 3+ years of experience with VDI technologies, includingVMware Horizon or Citrix Virtual Apps - 2+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp or similar application virtualization technology Desired Qualifications and Skills: -
