As a Software UI Engineer, you will work on innovative applications that will enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

What you will do:

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visual designsWrite and test Angular code for front-end componentsIntegrate with back-end APIs and servicesSolve and debug user interface issuesParticipate in code reviews and team meetingsResearch and implement standard processes for front-end development

How you will get here:

Education

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics or equivalent work experience5+ years of related experience in GUI development and front-end technologies, with expertise in the Angular framework and Javascript

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Attention to detail in implementing visual designsEffective communication and collaboration with design and back-end teamsContinuous learning and staying updated with front-end standard processesProblem-solving skills for solving and optimizing user interfacesProficiency in implementing and maintaining RESTful APIsSolid command of HTML5, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, REST, JSON, XML, and integration with back-end languages such as JavaWrite clean, maintainable code and be very strong in programming fields like object-oriented principles, design patterns, data structures, and unit testingExperience using Agile Scrum development processesExperience with GitHub and Atlassian toolsExperience with the modernization of application; internationalization and localizationExposure to Amazon Web Services or other leading cloud deployment platforms and servicesDeep understanding of custom themes, overriding default styles, maintaining modularized CSS, and SASSKnowledge of Python, Sinon.js and node.js is a plusExposure in working with geographically distributed teams
