What You'll Be Doing:Participating in SAFe® Agile Software Development teams bringing automation of testing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in a SAFe® construct.The Software Tester will work collaboratively to provide test plans and software automation engineering expertise to deliver incremental features to a wide range of productsDesign, develop, and integrate test and evaluation techniques into our automation frameworks, identify poor performing software and implement fixes to increase reliability, log defects, test scalability of systems, and provides status reports on the progress of tasksAdvise and build automation scripts (unit, integration, end-to-end, UI) ensuring code coverage and qualityCreate, execute, improve, and maintain automation test scripts through standard methodologies, closely monitor test results for swift feedback, and participate in peer code reviewsAdvocate and evangelize good testing practices and coding methodologies, like pair programming, code reviews, Test Driven Development (TDD), DevSecOps, Exploratory Testing, Behaviour-Driven Development, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD)Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, COWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with minimum 2+ years of experience (3+ years experience highly preferred)Certifications: SAFe® for TeamsAbility to obtain and hold a Secret clearanceDemonstrated working knowledge & experience in the following areas: agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber operations, software development life cycle management, program/project management in cross-functional teamsExperience in version control, continuous integration, configuration management, deployment automation, containers, infrastructure orchestration, and software testingHands on experience with code quality tools such as Chef, Docker, Puppet, and scripting LinuxProgramming language experience in React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTMLDatabase experience with SQL, Gitlab, and ArtifactoryWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top Secretprogramming language experience in Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTMLDatabase experience with SQL, Jenkins, and Artifactory

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Journeyman Software Tester to join our team!
