We're looking for a Finance Systems Software Test Engineer (STE) to join our team. You'll play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the reliability and accuracy of our critical finance tech stack, which directly impacts our company's revenue and strategic decision-making.\nOur Finance Systems team manages a robust and interconnected tech stack, including NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Zuora, and other essential tools. As a Finance Systems Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases. Your primary goal will be to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our finance system solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and support our business objectives.\n \nHow You’ll Find Success\n\nCollaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure comprehensive test coverage.\nDesigning and executing various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, to identify and document defects effectively.\nUtilizing testing tools and methodologies to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.\nAnalyzing test results, identifying root causes of defects, and working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.\nContributing to the establishment and maintenance of quality assurance best practices and standards within the Salesforce development team.\n\n \nHow You’ll Grow\n\nContinuously expand your technical knowledge and deepen your expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.\nStrengthen your understanding of the finance systems landscape and its various modules and functionalities.\nDevelop your skills in test automation and explore opportunities to implement automated testing frameworks.\nEnhance your collaboration and communication skills by working closely with cross-functional teams.\nGain exposure to different aspects of the development lifecycle and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nLearn to adapt to new releases and features and incorporate them into your testing strategies.\n\n \nThings You’ll Do\n\nDevelop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.\nExecute manual and automated test scripts, meticulously documenting test results and any defects found.\nIdentify, track, and manage defects using appropriate defect tracking tools, ensuring clear and concise reporting.\nCollaborate with developers and business analysts to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes.\nParticipate in requirement reviews and design discussions to provide feedback on testability and potential quality risks.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of test data and test environments.\nPerform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.\nAssist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing support and guidance to end-users.  \n\n \nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing SaaS applications.\nSolid understanding of NetSuite and Zoura functionality, configuration, and development concepts.\nExperience in designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for various types of testing.\nFamiliarity with testing tools and methodologies, such as Jira, Qase, Selenium (or other automation tools), and agile testing practices.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\n \nWhat You Should Know About This Team\n\nCompany-wide impact: The finance systems are critical to the company's operations and financial integrity. For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered within this range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability, 401(k) with match, paid time off, a wellness reimbursement, mental health benefits, and an experience bonus.
