Job Description

The role involves hands-on expertise in test automation across web, mobile, and desktop platforms, including setting up automation frameworks. Key responsibilities include creating test scenarios, acceptance tests, and managing defects, as well as handling technical communications with partners to understand client systems or APIs. The role requires collaboration with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with product engineering teams to evaluate and measure test automation outcomes. Candidates should be proficient in using monitoring tools, analyzing code bottlenecks, and leveraging various automation frameworks for UI, mobile, and REST services. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders to standardize test automation plans and utilizing GenAI fundamentals, including prompting techniques, to enhance test design and automation efficiency.

Core Responsibilities: 

· Hands-on experience to perform Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, and Desktop · Able to build different test scenarios, acceptance tests & defect management. · Able handle technical communications with Partners to understand client’s systems or APIs. · Work with developers to integrate automated tests with end-to-end build and test environment. · Good at monitoring the application using opensource/License tools. · Understanding of various automation frameworks for UI, Mobile, REST Services along with the integration with a CI/CD execution platform. · Analyse bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools. · Work closely with product engineering teams to own and evaluate Test automation measurement and analysis. · Collaborate with relevant stakeholders such as product management, product architects, and others to develop the right set of Test Automation plans for the group and standardizing the same. · Understanding the fundamentals of GenAI & leveraging its capabilities in test design and automation. This includes mastering various prompting techniques that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of your testing processes.
