Kforce has a client in Draper, UT that is seeking a Software Test Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for internal and customer-facing applications. Summary: This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality software by collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies, identify defects, and ensure a seamless user experience. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for building automated test suites that are robust, scalable, and reusable. Responsibilities: * Participate in sprint planning to provide testing input, estimate effort, and help define team objectives * Design and implement automated tests for both front-end and back-end components * Maintain and improve CI/CD test pipelines for consistent, reliable execution * Partner with cross-functional teams to establish product requirements related to quality, performance, security, and accessibility * Conduct peer reviews, assist with technical training, and provide guidance on test automation best practices * Mentor junior QA engineers and help evolve automation standards across the team * Investigate test failures, log defects, and document results in a clear and actionable manner * Contribute to planning and test readiness during software walkthroughs and code migrations * Perform other duties as assigned
