One of the responsibilities of the System Engineering department within our Naval Engineering unit is the development & testing of Combat & Information Management Systems for navy vessels and their integration with sensor and weapons systems. These complex systems incorporate advanced solutions in the field of information processing, information management, user interaction and sensor and weapons control. As such, our software offers essential support for missions ranging from combating piracy to defense against long-range missiles.

IVVQ Engineer (Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification)

You have graduated with a Master of Engineering (Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science, …) and have a significant proven experience (3 to 5+ years) among the following:

LIFE AS A THALES IVVQ ENGINEERING ROLE
As an IVVQ Engineer within Thales, you will be ensuring the test preparation and execution according to the strategy given by the IVVQ Manager and:

Perform module, program or unit testing of individual software componentsDefine step by step the integration tree consistent with the system release planDevelop/deploy/maintain software that performs or supports test activities such as test management, test design, test execution and results checkingProvide investigative support of a staging or SIL environment with the help of software or hardware toolsIdentify test equipment; standard or specialized and any special calibration requirements required at each Test ActivityPlan, estimate, monitor and control IVVQ activitiesIdentify the means required (enabling System) to validate the Solution, and then to define the operational scenario and the criteria of validation to objectively assess compliance of the SolutionSatisfy customer’s expectationsPrepare test campaigns, run the tests and analyze the resultsWrite and update the integration and verification test procedures documentationLead the demonstration to the end customer
