Our team is expanding! Were looking for experienced Software Technical Program Manager to lead our User Embodiment Software Development Kit (SDL) releases. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Avatars SDK releases with features that span across Facebook, Instagram, genAI, Horizon, Quest, and Metaverse products. You will play a key role identifying new feature needs and driving dependencies across a wide variety of product surfaces.

We're looking for TPMs with a proven track record of successfully wrangling complex software releases at significant scale. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with world-class development teams and leaders across the organization to deliver new experiences.

Software Technical Program Manager, User Embodiment SDK Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases for our products Facilitate release plans and schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams Facilitate communication and coordination among engineering, product design, quality assurance, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure successful software releases Monitor and report on release progress, including risks and issues, and take necessary actions to mitigate them Develop and maintain release processes, procedures, and documentation Drive visibility, accountability, and execution across their areas of software development for the organization Resolve conflicts, maintain clarity on priorities and drive progress on execution Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to release management Find ways to achieve efficiencies in the release process through technology Minimum Qualifications BS in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience 7 years of software release management, software engineering, or technical product/program management experience Proven track record of successfully managing software releases for complex products or platforms at significant scale Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs in a matrix organization Effective communication skills across a wide variety of disciplines, experience levels, and technical/non-technical backgrounds Experience solving complex problems and embracing ambiguity to drive impactful solutions Experience working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate Experience leading complex execution across different timezones Demonstrated risk management experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with mobile or game development Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar Experience working with technical art & modeling tools such as Maya, Houdini, Blender, 3Ds Max, Arnold, RenderMan, or Cycles Experience with AI and/or AI tooling in a game development context

Salary: $134,000/year to $196,000/year bonus equity benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
