For our Design Center team, we are currently looking for a(n) Software Technical Lead.

What you will do:

You will serve as the primary leader for software design within embedded systems development.Own and drive the detailed design and, in many cases, the overall software architecture for embedded systems.Act as both Scrum Master and Product Owner by maintaining the software backlog and facilitating daily stand-up meetings.Assign tasks to software engineers, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance to resolve challenges.Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders including the Design Project Manager, Software Architect, Technical Lead, Quality and Manufacturing.Ensure alignment between software, hardware, and manufacturing teams to meet project goals.Follow and promote the Budapest Design Center Software Development Process, adapting Agile and Scrum practices to fit the embedded context.

Fit & Experience: we want to speak with you if you..

Have proven experience in embedded software development, ideally in both the Automotive and Cloud, Server, and Telecommunications sectorsPossess strong understanding of software-hardware integration challenges and solutions.Have experience leading software teams and managing technical backlogs.Are familiar with hybrid Agile methodologies adapted for embedded systems.Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.

We consider the following experiences as a plusExperience with x86 based Board Management Controller and/or BIOS implementationsExperience with test automation and hardware testingExperience in lab work with oscilloscope, logic analyserIREB certificateExperience with ASPICE development processExperience with safety-critical systems (e.g., ISO 26262).Exposure to cloud-connected embedded systems or edge computing.
