Position: Advisory Engineer – Solutions

Compensation Range - $94,400-$110,000 Annual compensation
Location: North America (Remote with ~5% travel)
Overview:
Ricoh is seeking an Advisory Engineer with deep expertise in Advanced Capture, Coding and (BPM) Business Process Management experience. This technical role is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-class solutions, mentoring implementation teams, and establishing programming and QA standards. The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of IT consulting, BPM and solution development experience and can effectively support both client-facing and internal technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership:
Lead creation of technical designs and specifications
Perform development, deployment and testing of software solutions
Conduct solution reviews and ensure alignment with Ricoh standards
Report status and escalating project risks
Project Engagement:
Collaborate with Project Managers to plan technical phases of solution deployments
Lead technical meetings and support project execution
Accurately complete time reporting and resource planning
Standards Development:
Define and enforce Ricoh programming and QA/testing standards
Conduct code reviews and tool implementation
Sales & Marketing Support:
Assist with SOWs, technical documentation, and solution scoping
Join sales calls and contribute technical input for proposals
Perform customer software solution demonstrations (as needed)
Customer Support:
Provide Tier II/III support (as needed)
Assist with post-implementation transition to service/support teams
Team Development:
Mentor and train implementation staff as required
Lead product and technology knowledge sessions
Qualifications:
· 10+ years in software consulting, software coding, solution development, and deployment
· Strong understanding of ECM, BPM, Advanced Capture methodology. Certification in: Kofax/Tungsten, Capture, KTM, TotalAgility, Nintex, Axon Ivy
· Hands-on coding experience with Java, C#, .NET, JScript, JavaScript, Node.js HTML, CSS and databases like SQL Server, MariaDB, Oracle etc
· Familiarity with enterprise platforms: Windows, Linux, MAC, VMWare, Cloud Environments and infrastructure
· BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Preferred Skills & Assets:
· Experience with IDEs and tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Visio, SharePoint, GitHub/CoPilot, Azure DevOps, Notepad++, Word, Excel, MS Project, Power Bi, Visual Studio Code, Sql Server Management Studio Browser DevTools, APIs: OpenXML, ClosedXML, Docuware & JSON.NET
· Knowledge of RICOH-branded applications is a plus
· Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
