What would you do as our Software Quality Assurance Engineer
As a team member you will deliver a high-quality software solution that enables ASSA ABLOY factories and resellers around the globe each day to produce CLIQ systems and electromechanical locking elements before they are shipped to customers.
You will also cooperate with Technical Project Manager who acts as a Product Owner and manages product roadmap, defines backlog, and makes sure that priorities and goals are set and clearly communicated.
You would also:
create and execute tests for new features as well as define and execute regression testing (including end-to-end tests). keep automated and manual test scenarios in good condition. troubleshoot reported issues individually and together with the team, report found defects in our ticketing system. drive testing strategy implementation and improvements. maintain engineering and other internal documentation.
The skills and experience you need:
We are looking for someone who has:
2+ years of automatic and manual testing experience in client-server multi-component systems. good understanding of Quality Assurance processes and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), basic SQL language knowledge and experience in working with databases, experience in API testing (tools: Postman, Insomnia, etc.). work experience with Agile development methodologies (SCRUM). English proficiency sufficient to read and understand technical documentation; Polish would be strongly preferred.
Ideally, you would also have basic programming knowledge in .NET or other script languages, experience with test management tools (e.g. Jira, Zephyr) and IDE (e.g. Visual Studio), Gitlab and CI/CD concepts, Webservices (SOAP/REST), XML schema, JSON as well as load testing tools (JMeter, Clumsy 0.3 or similar). However, these are not mandatory
