Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description

The Software / Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining standards for software and hardware operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures. The engineer will support manufacturing, assembly, integration, configuration management, materials selection, and test activities.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain standards for software and hardware operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.Support manufacturing, assembly, integration, and configuration management activities.Select materials and conduct test activities.Ensure compliance with SW & HW quality assurance standards, including traceability, unit testing, regression testing, static analysis, and materials analysis.Lead the quality team and manage quality assurance projects.Essential SkillsProficiency in hardware and software quality assurance.Understanding of ISO 9001 standards.Experience with AS9100 standards.Knowledge in configuration management.Traceability, unit testing, regression testing, and static analysis experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.Experience in a regulated environment such as space or defense is preferred.2+ years of experience performing PA/QA technical requirements.Work Environment

The work environment includes a combination of office and laboratory settings, with 50% of the time spent in the lab. The engineer will work on multiple programs, including those in defense and aerospace sectors such as Artemis and Gateway. There are currently more programs than engineers on staff, providing a dynamic and hands-on experience in quality assurance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
