Software Engineering Manager - HIH – Evernorth 

Grow our engineering team – Invest time in developing team members and mentoring; attract, hire, and retain top talent

· Responsible for software product engineering deliverables and activities including solution architecture reviews/recommendations, design, development, testing, and automation

· Track and monitor the progress of milestones and team velocity, recommend adjustments as necessary

· Leverage technical expertise and SaaS experience to ensure we are building scalable products that are highly performant and secure

· Manage software product development efforts by participating in business strategy sessions, defining shared outcomes, and aligning appropriate talent to the effort

· Ensure tech stack selection and software development patterns align to the technology strategy and are optimized for the business use case

· Focus on automation and exploring opportunities to leverage and benefit from Gen AI

· Inculcate a continuous improvement culture that is constantly monitoring the performance, cost, security, and quality of the solutions implemented

· Collaborate with peers to build complimenting software products, sharing learnings and innersourcing to reduce duplication and create synergy

· Foster an engineering mindset culture that is focused on increasing business value velocity, building products of high quality that can scale, and user experiences that support end to end workflows that are rich with insights and simple to use

· Stay current on technology in order to capitalize on new capabilities that can advance business
