Your Role:
In this role you will manage projects, mentor engineers, drive innovation, and lead our embedded control firmware design and development team. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead the design and development of PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for industrial control systems, delivering high-quality and reliable solutionsOversee the creation and implementation of embedded controller firmware using C++ and C#Define and enforce best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing protocols, and documentation aligned with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, technical leadership, and conducting performance evaluations to support professional growthCollaborate with cross-functional teams—hardware engineering, product management, and quality assurance—to define project requirements and deliverablesChampion continuous improvement initiatives in development processes and methodologies, ensuring compliance with all SDLC phases: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems and industrial automation

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other engineering discipline10+ years of experience in software development 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s DegreeHands on experience developing PLC, HMI, and SCADA systemsProficiency in C++ and C# programming languagesProficient in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) along with software architecture expertise; experience with Version Control (GitHub), Jira, and SmartsheetExperience in managing software engineering teams and projects, with a focus on team members' growth and developmentTask and resource management skills, problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills
