We are looking for an experience Software Engineering Manager to join one of Canada's largest QSR companies and strengthen their digital brand presence. This position will significantly impact how millions of guests interact with our brand digitally, ensuring we deliver engaging, highly reliable, and scalable solutions. This role is 80% leading hybrid engineering teams and collaborating with cross-functional groups, and 20% hands-on coding and architecture. This role requires the ability and commitment to 5 days in person Monday-Friday at the Toronto office.

Skills and Requirements
• 4+ year of experience successfully leading hybrid engineering teams
• 10+ years of Front-End development with a focus on mobile (React Native + Expo Workflows)
• 10+ of AWS Infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
• GraphQL for API design
• TypeScript
• GitHub Actions, Terraform
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Microservices, Serverless
• Datadog (or similar cloud-scale applications)
• Agile experience
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Ability and commitment to go on-site 5 times per week in Toronto • Familiarity with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe DAM, or similar platforms.
• Background in digital customer engagement, loyalty programs, or personalization strategies.
• Experience managing digital platforms within the quick-service restaurant (QSR), retail, or consumer-facing industries. null
