**The Opportunity**
This position works remotely out of Canada location in the Diabetes Care division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Lead and manage a team of software engineers focused on the development of our headless CMS system, and the delivery of content to a growing number of public facing web and mobile applications
+ Oversee the design, development, and deployment of headless CMS solutions using tools such as Strapi and Contentful
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to ensure CMS solutions meet business requirements.
+ Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing
+ Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
+ Provide consistent and clear feedback to your direct reports. Team members understand when they are below, meeting, or exceeding expectations.
+ Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure the successful content delivery
+ Manage the localization of content for applications deployed in over 50+ countries
+ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our CMS solutions at the forefront of innovation.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant field or equivalent experience
+ Minimum 7 years of professional hands-on software development experience in either mobile and/or web-based platforms
+ 2+ years of experience in managing engineers and leading a team
+ Demonstrated experience working with headless CMS systems and complex content architectures
+ In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript and React
+ Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience working with AWS and S3
+ Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team
+ Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
+ Comfortable working in an agile environment
