About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead to guide a team of developers in building impactful software solutions. This role involves hands-on coding, mentoring, and contributing to project planning and execution. You’ll help shape technical direction, support team growth, and ensure high-quality delivery. Responsibilities + Act as the first point of contact for technical issues within your team. + Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to finalize requirements. + Write and review technical specifications and code for moderately complex systems. + Resolve advanced bugs and technical challenges. + Translate product requirements into effective software designs. + Promote best practices in development, including code reviews and testing. + Work in Agile, Kanban, or other development environments. + Mentor and support junior engineers in their growth. + Stay current with emerging technologies and trends. + Design and manage complex data models. + Lead team operations including hiring, training, performance feedback, and fostering innovation. + Encourage accountability, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration. Requirements + Fluent in English and Spanish. + Reside in Mexico City and available to work onsite 2–4 days per week. + Proficient in object-oriented programming (.NET/C# and JavaScript). + Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus. + Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. + Skilled in test-driven development and working with complex data models. + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical resources. + Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills. + Effective communicator across diverse audiences and organizational levels.
