About the Role:

As the Software Engineering Team Lead, you will play a key role in advancing our software development initiatives. You will provide guidance on project plans, schedules, and methodologies, while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for your team. This role includes both technical responsibilities and leadership opportunities. 

About the Team:

This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalation within your team. 

Collaborate with technical personnel and stakeholders to finalize requirements. 

Write and review detailed specifications for system components. 

Lead efforts to resolve complex technical issues. 

Implement development processes, coding best practices, and conduct code reviews. 

Mentor and train junior software engineers, ensuring their growth and success. 

Stay informed about new technological developments and apply them effectively. 

Encourage innovation and accountability within the team. 

Ensure all staff receive the resources, feedback, and support needed to excel. 

Requirements:

A solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). 

Experience with resource models such as Managed Services or Staff Augmentation. 

Proficiency in at least one development language (e.g., Java/J2EE, JavaScript, C/C++, HTML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, .Net). 

Knowledge of normalized and dimensional data modeling principles. 

Knowledge of Search based Applications and Search Engine

Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to lead teams in troubleshooting complex issues. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering collaboration. 

Flexibility and adaptability to work in various development environments.
