In this role, you will help shape the future of AI-powered cybersecurity by building intelligent agents and platform capabilities that serve both internal (1P) and external (3P) customers. You will work on cutting-edge technologies including Knowledge Systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), model fine-tuning, and memory architectures. A key focus will be developing specialized agents that empower security researchers and analysts, enabling them to operate more efficiently and effectively in complex threat environments. Responsibilities include: • Develop “best-in-class” engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, scalable, compliant, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable • Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews • Adding and optimizing monitoring coverage, including self-healing for services • System design through well-defined interfaces across multiple components, code reviews, leveraging data/ telemetry to make decisions • Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, service integration and geo-expansion, software performance analysis and system tuning. • Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site **Qualifications** • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline and 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python etc. or equivalent experience. • Experience in building, shipping and maintaining cloud services on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or similar • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. • Required problem solving, system design, rapid prototyping, and effective communication skills. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: - This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. + Experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and model fine-tuning techniques. • Experience in software development in AI/ ML or security domains. • Proficiency with containers and experience working with Kubernetes for orchestration and strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
