Software Engineer - SAP ABAP Developer

As an SAP Technical Consultant, you will be in charge for providing technical support and expertise for maintenance of SAP systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. Your role will involve developing, testing, packaging before delivery in production, monitoring and improving of existing developments

Responsibilities

Provide end-user support and resolve technical issues and system errors in a timely manner.

Perform system analysis, testing, and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues and ensure system integrity and performance.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP systems.

Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and developers to ensure seamless integration between various SAP modules and third-party applications.

Document technical specifications, configuration changes, and system processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.

Understand the business processes that SAP systems must support.

Required Skills

Strong technical skills in the SAP ABAP programming language and familiarity with SAP development tools such as SAP NetWeaver, SAP ECC (Enterprise Central Component), and SAP HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance)

Experiences with :

Customizing SAP modules, including but not limited to SAP FI/CO, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PP.

SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance optimization, and system upgrades.

Designing and developing custom solutions using SAP technologies, including SAP Enhancement Framework, SAP BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface), SAP IDoc (Intermediate Document), and SAP User Exits.

Solid understanding of SAP data structures, data migration, and data integration techniques

Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 to develop modern, user-friendly SAP applications.

Ability to analyze complex business processes

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug SAP system issues.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results on time.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as an SAP technical consultant or in a similar role, with at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Strong understanding of SAP best practices and methodologies.

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and propose effective solutions.
