Software Engineer Manager, Modem Systems Software

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world. + Innovate and develop embedded software for modem systems, focusing on scalable frameworks and new feature implementation. + Design, implement, and tune algorithms to optimize system performance, power, and thermal metrics. + Create comprehensive test solutions, including factory calibration systems and automated regression tests to ensure feature validation and performance measurement. + Develop system and developer tools aimed at enhancing overall system optimization. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, scope projects, and ensure compliance and conformance.
