**Description:** You will be a Lead Software Engineer within the F\-22 IMIS program located at HAFB, UT\. As a Lead Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include: • Accountable for the Software Product Team’s overall engineering technical, capability, and schedule performance for the ground systems team at HAFB\. • Coordination planning, organization, integration and completion of software development projects\. • Providing SW PT progress and plans to SW Leadership\. • Instantiates solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation and support\. • Leveraging proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry\. • Ensuring program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Modern Engineering Practices\. • Planning and formulating engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications\. • Coordinating activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems\. • Lead a mixed team of LM and Air Force Civil Service Engineers\. **Basic Qualifications:** Secret Security Clearance Engineering or related technical degree Previous software development experience in C\+\+ **Desired Skills:** Experience leading software teams Experience writing and debugging C\+\+ code Experience writing and debugging SQL code Experience using Oracle database Experience with Solaris Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Experience with Agile software development **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\.
