What You'll Do:

+ Innovate and Collaborate: Work on building, supporting, and maintaining systems that significantly boost productivity and velocity for Netflix engineers. You'll be part of a team that explores integrating Generative and Agentic AI to enhance developer experiences and automate routine tasks. + Hands-On Development: Dive into software development, from brainstorming and design to deployment and testing. Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, and Designers to understand and meet customer needs. + Create Impactful Tools: Develop platform products that increase the engineering team's efficiency on Netflix's scale. + ​​Tech Stack Upgrades: Build support tooling for tech stack upgrades across the entire Netflix ecosystem, ensuring our technology remains cutting-edge and enhances engineering velocity. + Continuous Learning: Regularly learn new systems and tools as the Netflix platform and ecosystem evolve.

What We're Looking For:

+ Extensive experience developing distributed large-scale software applications and designing APIs using Java, Python, or Golang with a language-agnostic approach. + Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). + Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. + Knowledge of data storage technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and caching solutions. + Familiarity with front-end technologies like ReactJS. + Passionate about pioneering next-generation platforms by modernizing the tech stack and transforming existing systems into innovative solutions that propel our future success. + Appreciates big-picture thinking, with the capability to work effectively across multiple domains, time zones, and problem areas, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive solutions. + Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with a product-centric approach. + A proactive/self-driven, and highly motivated professional committed to delivering high-quality solutions with a strong sense of ownership.
