As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Administrative Office - Global Real Estate Technology, you will be an experienced member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering reliable, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic goals.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityFamiliar with Tririga Development, Space ManagementAdvanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplinesUnderstanding of architecture and design across all systemsSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and SecurityUse of APM tools, profiling tools and performance tuning process management, scalabilityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFeAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedFast learner and ability to solve complex problems
