As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Wealth Management Technology Team, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your responsibilities include implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Model, design, develop, code, test, debug, document functional and non-functional product capabilities, service model related features, and dashboards for the advisory journeyEnsure quality of the resultant product by enhancing scalability, supportability, and test coverageSetup and maintain deployment pipeline to the private cloud and public cloud environmentsBuilding reusable components and front-end libraries for future useCollaborate with Product Owners / Business Analysts / other technology teams in developing, implementing, and deploying wealth management solutions using PythonTake lead on new feature development

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on Computer Science concepts and 8+ years applied experienceProficiency in Python (or one or more general purpose programming language, Java/C#)Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts, and technologiesAbility to communicate well with Business stakeholders and Product OwnersExperience of RESTful API design, microservice oriented architectureExperience of application deployment on Docker / KubernetesExperience of full project lifecycle, breaking requirements down into technical deliverables and effort estimationExperience of stakeholder management with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose alternativesDisciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices and high-quality deliveryFully capable of taking substantial features from concept to shipping
